Hail The Sun Plays a Sold Out Show at Emo’s ATX

On April 7th, 2026, at Emo's in Austin Texas, a line wrapped around the building as fans of Hail the Sun arrived hours early for the sold-out show, determined to secure a spot close to the stage. As the lights dimmed, anticipation turned into reality the moment the band walked out and there was no turning back from there. Lead singer, Donovan Melero, commanded the stage with relentless energy, jumping across the stage, throwing his mic stand up in the air and catching it flawlessly, and using the microphone as an extension of himself while the crowd screamed every word back. During heavier songs, guitarist Aric Garcia stepped up onto the platform for insane solos, triggering full mosh pits that at one point took over the entire left side of the floor. Then, during Relax/Divide, everything dropped into a brief, calm as the crowd slowed and sang: “tel-tel-telephone rings.” By the end of the night, the room was left breathless, drenched in sweat, and smiling completely spent from a set that gave them everything they wanted and more.
