Hot Mulligan Live at Stubb’s Amphitheater
The Sound a Body Makes When It’s Still Tour drew a massive crowd in Austin, Texas. The lineup was stacked, with openers like Anxious, Drug Church, and Arm's Length delivering high energy sets that had the audience fully locked in before Hot Mulligan even hit the stage.
When the band finally stepped out, the crowd roared. They tore through songs from their newest album while mixing in fan favorites such as “How Do You Know It’s Not Armadillo Shells?”, “No Shoes in the Coffee Shop (Or Socks),” and “Shhhh! Golf Is On.” The energy in the atmosphere did not change, fans danced nonstop, and crowd surfers poured over the barricade from start to finish. At one point, the band paused briefly, only for frontman Tades Sanville to call out the fact that the crowd surfers were still coming.
As the set came to a close and the band walked off stage, the chants for an encore started. The chats for “one more song” could be heard from outside of the venue. After a minute or two, they came back to play two more hits. Overall, the show was so much fun and as fans exited the venue with merch in hand, they buzzed about making sure to see them play again.
